Zogo Finance exhibited on Capitol Hill for Financial Literacy Day
We were pleased to be invited by our partner Jump$tart (https://www.jumpstart.org/who-we-are/partners/) to participate in the June 26th, 2019 Financial Literacy Day held on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.
Financial Literacy Day on Capitol Hill introduces Members of Congress, their staffs, the Capitol Hill community, and the general public to the strides Jump$tart and its partners have made in the financial literacy effort; to the most effective financial education programs and resources available today; and to the organizations and individuals who are working together toward shared goals.
Meeting so many inspiring leaders and hearing their missions, it’s clear there is a real passion to solve this ongoing financial education problem that is facing the young people of today. A lot of progress has been made but much more remains to be done.
Exhibiting Zogo’s approach and discussing our plans to the hundreds of people in attendance reaffirmed that Zogo’s approach is uniquely targeting the problem with a combination of mobile app financial education and paying the student to learn by partnering with financial institutions and other corporate sponsors.
We’d like to thank everyone for their excellent feedback with a particular call out to Natalie H., a high school student at the event who sent us this wonderful email afterwards:
“I think that the Zogo Finance project and app are phenomenal!... I would recommend Zogo Finance to all the students I interact with, and I am very excited to start to using it myself.”
